Cheers to an end of another chapter in my life.
Cheers to the beginning of the most difficult chapter of my life.
:)
So it begins! After four years at the University of California, Los Angeles, I have finally accomplished a life goal. As a bachelors of arts in the field of Sociology, I finally set out on a new and daunting adventure. I’ve made UCLA my home, working here during all the summers and breaks. I have never been away from this place for more than a week. Now, it’s finally over. I have to leave the nest to trek forward to “bigger and better” things.
I’ve made amazing friends and relationships with people (mentors, professors, janitorial staff, etc) that I have learned so much from. I’ve grown as a leader, an educator, a mentor, a friend, a learner, and most importantly, a person. I know that as I travel along my path of unknown destinations, that I will always and forever have these people by my side. There’s not enough thank yous in the world that can be said to show how grateful and blessed I am to have had this experience.
So really. Cheers!
Head First. No Bearings. Just Hope. Confidence. and a Smile.
